Bell Schedule

• The school day will begin promptly at 8:15 a.m. 
• Students will receive a copy of the bell schedule on the first day of school.
• A warning bell will ring at 8:14 a.m. each morning. Students not in class at 8:15 a.m. will be considered tardy for their 1st period. 
• Students are expected to be on time to each class. 
• An accumulation of tardies will result in consequences as outlined in the Alcovy Tardy Policy/Letter to parents.
• Failure to be on time will result in a tardy unless the student has a pass from a staff member. The school day will end at 3:15 p.m. Students are expected to exit the building at dismissal.

Student Schedules

• Student schedules will be available soon and will be viewed through the Parent Portal.
  (It is recommended that you take a screenshot before arriving to OPEN HOUSE)
•  Students will be informed of their scheduled lunch time during the first day of school.
• Learn how to create a parent account in the Parent Portal to monitor grades and attendance HERE.
•  Learn how to set tardy, absence, and grade notifications in the Parent Portal HERE.

Check outs and Outside food/drink

Check outs

• All checkouts are handled through the school clinic 
• A Government issued picture ID is required to check out students. 
• No checkouts after 2:45pm. No Exceptions.
• No checkout after 11:45 am on Early Release Day. No Exceptions. 
• Written and electronic check-out requests should be received at least one hour before requested checkout time.
• If this process is not followed, some delay can be expected. Students MAY NOT checkout for lunch.

Outside food/drink

• Commercially prepared food may not be delivered to students.

Students MAY NOT leave campus to buy lunch and then return to school with that lunch.
