Senior End of School Year 2021 Events
Senior Final Exams
DETAILS
Senior final exams will be Tuesday May 18, 2021 and Wednesday May 19, 2021. Alcovy issued computers and mobile hotspots collection will occur those days for Seniors who have completed all graduation requirements. After that point, Seniors who have not completed graduation requirements must complete outstanding tasks virtually.
**Any student with an average of 80 or higher may exempt the final exam**
Senior Prom Celebration “The Future is Bright”
DETAILS
Date: Thursday May 20, 2021 (Monday May 24 or Tuesday May 25 will serve as possible inclement weather contingency dates)
Time: 6PM-10:30PM (Gathering size may be managed by time slots depending upon participation)
Location: Homer Sharp Stadium
Cost: $20
Tickets: Payments will be accepted via Gofan.co starting on Monday March 29, 2021.
**Alcovy Seniors (12 graders) **
**Masks are required**
There have been changes to the protocol for Alcovy’s Prom. Any 12th grade Alcovy student can now bring a date to the Prom. The date can be any 11th or 12th grade student from any Newton County School System high school or a 2020 graduate from any Newton County School System high school.
Registration will occur via a Google Form which will be emailed and posted on Alcovy’s website. Registration Deadline: April 30, 2021.
Senior Honors Night Recognition
DETAILS
DATE: Thursday May 27, 2021 (Tuesday 6/1 or Wednesday 6/2 will serve as possible inclement weather contingency dates)
Time: 8PM
Location: Homer Sharp Stadium
Invitations will be sent to Seniors who will be recognized at the event.

Alcovy’s Graduation will take place under the Newton County School System and CDC COVID-19 safety protocols. The number of tickets that each student will receive will be determined by the number of graduation participants. The number of tickets that each Senior will receive will be released in the early part of May.
