Dear AP Students and Parents,

As we approach the end of the school year and the upcoming AP Exams, I would like to provide an important update regarding AP Exam fees.

Earlier in October, we shared information about the AP Exam registration and payment process. For your convenience, we have attached this information once again, including updated due dates for payments. Please review it closely.

To recap, a deposit was due in the first semester, and the remaining balance was initially due by March 1, 2025. If you were unable to meet the March 1 deadline, we kindly request that all remaining balances be paid by April 18, 2025, to ensure your exams are fully paid for. We are in the process of sending updated invoices via students' school email addresses.

Please be aware that if a student decides to cancel their exam at this stage, a $40 cancellation fee from College Board will apply. Likewise, if a student does not attend the exam on test day without prior cancellation, the $40 fee will still be charged. 

Payment Options
Payments can be made easily via GoFan. The attached PowerPoint includes a QR code for direct access to payment. Alternatively, you may visit the Alcovy High School website, click on the "AP Students" tab, and select the link titled "AP Exam Registration Fee – GoFan." From there, under “Upcoming Events,” you will find the third option for AP Exams. Click “Buy Tickets” to choose your exam(s) and select either the deposit or full payment option. If paying via GoFan is not feasible, a money order may be submitted to our bookkeeper, Ms. Sanetra Miller, in the front office.

 Reduced Exam Rate
Although all Newton County students are receiving free lunch this year through the community provision, students do not automatically qualify for the reduced rate for AP Exams. If you believe you qualify for the reduced rate, please complete the attached “AP Fee Reduction Form GaDOE.pdf” and return it to me no later than April 18, 2025.
